DEA managed the site civil engineering services for this multi-story building that houses the Mercy Corps administrative offices. An existing four-story building was remodeled to provide additional office space as well as space for a museum and the smaller Mercy Corps NW. Civil engineering improvements included new public utility services (sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water) to the building and public street frontage improvements including a left-turn lane from Naito Parkway, improvements to SW Naito Parkway and SW Ankeny Street that included new curbs, driveways, sidewalks, street lighting, and street trees. The project achieved LEED BD+C New Construction v2 Platinum Certification.
