Transportation Planning

DEA’s transportation planners provide our clients with comprehensive transportation planning services that range from the initial investigation of a transportation problem through planning and conceptual development. Through their direct experience working on transportation systems, our planners have worked with cities, counties, and regional and state departments of transportation, as well as private developers and industry. We have applied our knowledge to major corridor analyses, traffic impact analyses, transportation demand management programs, alternative transportation planning, environmental impact statements, parking programs, transit system planning, and community transportation plans that coordinate land use and transportation. We understand and follow the processes and requirements to meet grant and funding administration guidelines, and can assist clients with the identification of and application for funding opportunities.

DEA’s added value is in our ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and bring integrated, multidiscipline teams to the project. We work collaboratively with our clients, creatively blending knowledge and technical expertise to arrive at solutions that best meet community and owner needs.
