DEA provides engineering design for distribution and transmission substations up to 500 kV on existing and green field sites. Our experience includes air and gas insulated substations (GIS), HVDC and upgrades to existing substations. Services include environmental studies, permitting, public outreach, electrical engineering design, civil/structural design, oil containment, and protection and control. DEA also provides special studies on fault duty, grounding, breaker/fuse coordination, animal/bird protection, and visual impact studies.
