California State Parks On-Call Land Surveying Services
DEA is providing boundary, topographic, and design surveys for the California State Department of Parks and Recreation under an on-call state-wide contract. Projects include surveying for a variety of buildings and structures, including several headquarters buildings and visitors’ centers at state beaches and other state parks. Services typically involve mapping to be used in the design of new facilities or infrastructure and to assist with the California State Parks’ Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and deferred maintenance programs.
Sites have included Asilomar State Beach, Carmel River State Beach, Donner Memorial State Park, Sonoma Coast State Beach, Lake Oroville State Park, Doheny State Beach, San Elijo State Beach, Millerton Lake State Recreation Area, Big Basin Redwoods State Park, and Samuel P. Taylor State Park.
